Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare will be conducting the 5th nationwide Digital Life Certificate campaign in 2000 cities/ Districts across India from November 1-30, 2026.
The department has notified the guidelines through O.M. dated 13th August, 2026. This is the biggest-ever DLC Campaign undertaken.
The focus is mainly on promoting Face Authentication Technology.
Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and UIDAI will provide technical support during this Campaign. Face Authentication for Digital Life Certificate is a seamless and fast mode for DLC generation which can be used on Android as well as iOS, making it easy and convenient for elderly Pensioners.
