Jammu, June 25, 2026:
In preparation for the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) 2026, DIG JSK Range, Shri Shridhar Patil, IPS, today chaired a briefing of all security forces deployed in Jammu for Yatra duties.
The meeting was attended by SSP Jammu Shri Joginder Singh, Zonal SPs, and Nodal Officers of J&K Police, CISF, CRPF, and SSB.
During the briefing, DIG JSK Range reviewed the security arrangements and deployment plans for the Yatra. He stressed the importance of maintaining high vigilance, effective coordination among all agencies, and ensuring the safety and security of pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage.
All officers and personnel were directed to remain alert, dedicated, and professional in the discharge of their duties. Special emphasis was laid on strengthening the security grid, prompt response to any contingency, and maintaining close coordination among all forces deployed on the ground.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the commitment of all security agencies to ensure the smooth, safe, and peaceful conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026.
