The Div Com was apprised that all essential preparations and works at the Yatri Niwas camp have been put in place. Facilities for accommodation, drinking water, power supply, locker rooms, washrooms, illumination and other amenities have been set up at the Yatri Niwas, along with a health facility with doctors, paramedics and medical stock, and a round-the-clock control room with dedicated teams from line departments to ensure the best services for pilgrims.
The Div Com and IGP Jammu also visited the Token and Registration Centre at Tawi Riverfront, where they took a comprehensive review of arrangements for security, frisking points, multiple token and registration counters, drinking water, German hangars and barricading for smooth on-the-spot registration of pilgrims.
