During the visit, the Divisional Commissioner and IGP Jammu visited Sangla village in Tehsil Surankote, where they met the families who lost their family members in the recent flash floods and expressed heartfelt condolences.
They assured all support and assistance from the administration to the affected families.
Div Com and IGP Jammu took stock of Jammu the situation and assessed the ongoing restoration works in the affected areas. Directions were issued the concerned officers to expedite restoration works and ensure early restoration of essential services and infrastructure.
Divisional Commissioner asked the concerned officers for providing timely assistance and necessary support to all the affected families and directed the concerned departments to take all required measures for the safety and well-being of the affected population.
