Jammu: Renowned cardiologist Dr. Varun Guptahas been conferred with the prestigious Aarogya Bhushan Puruskar 2026 for his distinguished clinical service and valuable contributions to the field of cardiology.
The honour was presented during the Aarogya Shikhar Samman – A Medical Investiture Ceremony, organised by the J&K Chapter of the International Medical Sciences Academy (IMSA).
Dr. Gupta is currently serving as a Consultant Cardiologist at Avighna ASCOMS Heart Centre, Sidhra, Jammu, with 10+ years of experience in cardiac procedures. He completed his MBBS and MD in Medicine from Government Medical College, Jammu, followed by DNB in Cardiology from Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre, New Delhi.
With extensive expertise in coronary interventions, angioplasty and stenting, echocardiography, pacemaker implantation and critical cardiac care, Dr. Gupta has established himself as a dedicated cardiology professional.
