Single-lane movement was resumed by around 4:00 AM, ensuring the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra convoy crossed safely. Clearance work continued throughout the day, and by around 3:00 PM both lanes were made operational for smooth traffic movement.
Following a fresh landslide at Samroli around midnight on 27 July, NHAI teams were immediately deployed with men and machinery to restore traffic.
