In a major breakthrough against cross-border arms smuggling, BSF Punjab in a joint operation with SSOC Amritsar, recovers 1 AK-47 rifle, 25 pistols, and 368 live cartridges, and arrests one accused near the Indo-Pak International Border.

Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the Post-Harvesting Infrastructure of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants at the Model Floriculture Centre, Nuner to be developed at a cost of ₹538.32 lakh. The project will boost value addition, processing and market linkages for farmers engaged in high-value medicinal and aromatic crops, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to agricultural diversification, farmer welfare and sustainable rural livelihoods.
