Jammu & Kashmir, September 5, 2026:
An important meeting was held in Jammu & Kashmir with the objective of promoting, expanding and strengthening Mardani Sports Federation India across the Union Territory under its guidance and recognition.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held with the Associate Members and office bearers of the Mardani Sports Association Jammu & Kashmir regarding the expansion and development of Mardani Sports. The meeting was attended by Mr. Jatinder Singh Lucky, President, Mardani Sports Association Jammu & Kashmir; Mr. Ravinder Singh, Secretary; and Mr. Gurmeet Singh.
For the meeting, Mr. Santosh Khandare, Secretary, Mardani Sports Federation India, and Mr. Vinod Kunjir, Treasurer, Mardani Sports Federation India, specially visited Jammu & Kashmir.
The discussions focused on promoting the Mardani Sports Association in Jammu & Kashmir in a more effective and organised manner, connecting new players with proper training and competitions, and expanding Mardani Sports activities at the district and state levels in the coming period.
Special emphasis was laid on taking Mardani Sports to different parts of Jammu & Kashmir in order to preserve and promote its rich historical traditions, Indian cultural heritage and martial spirit among the younger generation. The sport was also highlighted as an important means of developing physical fitness, self-confidence, discipline and a sense of patriotism among the youth.
The office bearers of Mardani Sports Federation India, along with the Jammu & Kashmir office bearers, expressed their commitment to organising training camps, workshops, district-level and state-level competitions in the future and providing talented players with appropriate platforms and opportunities to showcase their abilities.
The meeting is being regarded as an important step towards the organised development and expansion of Mardani Sports in Jammu & Kashmir. All the office bearers expressed confidence that through mutual coordination, cooperation and collective efforts, Mardani Sports can reach new heights across Jammu & Kashmir.
The meeting was held at the Head Office, Sadar Bazaar, Satwari, Shop No. 10/N, Jammu & Kashmir.
