11-day visit to include spiritual programmes across Jammu region
JAMMU: Renowned spiritual leader and Peethadhishwar of Shri Hari Kripa Peeth, Swami Hari Chaitanya Puri Ji Maharaj will arrive in Jammu on September 15 for an 11-day visit during which he will address devotees at a series of spiritual and religious programmes across the Jammu region.
His visit has generated considerable enthusiasm among devotees particularly as he is visiting Jammu after several years. The programmes will be organised in Jammu, Rajouri, Akhnoor and Khour where Maharaj Ji will deliver spiritual discourses and share his message of peace, harmony and human welfare.
The programme arrangements were discussed and finalised at a meeting of the Shri Hari Kripa Sewa Samiti, Jammu-Kashmir held on Sunday. The meeting was chaired by Samiti president Rajiv Charak who briefed the members about the preparations and assigned various responsibilities for the smooth conduct of the events.
Charak said a grand reception would be organised in the Channi and Bahu Fort areas on September 15 to welcome Maharaj Ji on his arrival in Jammu. He will subsequently visit the revered Bawe Wali Mata Temple where he will offer prayers for the welfare of humanity and peace and prosperity in Jammu.
Giving details of the programme schedule, Charak said spiritual discourses would be held at Dalhori in border district Rajouri on September 17 and 18 followed by programmes at Akhnoor on September 19 and Chamklal in border area Khour on September 20.
The main Jammu programme will be held on September 24 and 25 at “”Jammu Club.”
The Samiti is making elaborate arrangements for the two-day event which is expected to draw a large gathering of devotees from Jammu and adjoining areas.
Charak appealed to devotees to participate in the programmes in large numbers and benefit from the spiritual discourses of Maharaj Ji. He said the visit would provide an opportunity for devotees to receive his message of spiritual wisdom, peace and positivity.
The meeting was attended by M. M. Puri, Satpal Mankotia, Baldev Raj, Surinder Kumar, Ranvir Langar, Suraj Sharma besides other senior office-bearers of the Samiti. The members offered suggestions for making the programmes successful.
